What is ECash Direct?  

ECash Direct is a legal form of computer-generated currency, which can be securely purchased with credit cards, ECP (Electronic Check Processing), personal checks and Wire Transfers, from ECash Direct (UK) Limited. Once a customer purchases ECash Direct it can be used at Safari Casino^® to purchase betting chips. When customers wish to cash in they receive the funds via credit card (only up to amount charged), ECP, or check from ECash Direct (UK) Limited Inc.

How much can I deposit to my Safari Casino™ account each week by credit card?

Effective December 23, 1999, ECash Direct (UK) Limited Inc. established weekly deposit limits by credit card to ECash Direct accounts in the amount of US$1,500 (for accounts opened less than 90 days), US$2,000 (for accounts opened more than 90 days) and US$2,500 (for accounts opened for more than one year). Weekly deposit limits are reset each Friday at 12:00am EST.

Is purchasing/cashing in ECash Direct (UK) Limited Inc. ECash Direct safe?

Your protection from third-party intervention, for any transaction at Safari Casino^®, is provided by the ECash Direct (UK) Limited Inc. proprietary encryption program.

What is an ECash Direct account and how do I get one?

ECash Direct stands for "electronic cash". ECash Direct is a legal form of computer-generated currency which can be securely purchased with credit cards, ECP (Electronic Check Processing), checks, money orders and wire transfers. Once a user purchases ECash Direct, it can be used within applications that use the ECash Direct (UK) Limited ECash Direct system, or as a standalone program used to purchase items electronically). An ECash Direct account is created automatically when a user registers an application that contains a ECash Direct (UK) Limited ECash Direct product or the ECash Direct (UK) Limited ECash Direct Plug-in. Each ECash Direct account has a username and password associated with it that is chosen by the user during registration. In addition, a PIN is generated for each ECash Direct account which is not interchangeable with any other ECash Direct account.

How do I deposit funds to my ECash Direct account?

To deposit funds to your ECash Direct account, select "Deposit" from the ECash Direct screen and click on the method by which you would like to deposit. Once you have done this, enter the amount you would like to deposit. You may then hit "Apply" and your deposit will be processed. For more information regarding the different methods by which you can deposit to your ECash Direct account and the rules and regulations of each method, please read the short notes found on the right hand side of the deposit screen for each method.

What are the current deposit limits via credit card to ECash Direct accounts?

Do deposits to my ECash Direct account via credit card get charged to me as purchases or cash advances?

All charges from ECash Direct Inc. are classified as Purchases by ECash Direct Inc. However, please be advised that Visa and/or MasterCard may classify these charges as Cash Advances and will charge you accordingly

How do I withdraw funds from my ECash Direct account?

To withdraw funds from your ECash Direct account, you must have the PIN for that account which is mailed to you the following business day after you first deposit to your ECash Direct account. When you have this number, please select "CASHIER" from the Game Room menu bar. Then select "Withdraw" from the ECash Direct screen and click on which method you would like to withdraw by - credit card or check. Once you have done this, please enter your PIN and the amount you would like to withdraw. You may then hit "Apply" and your withdrawal will be processed.

How do I find my account number ?

Your account number is printed at the top of the letter ECash Direct (UK) Limited mails to you with your personal PIN number. Next to your alias you will find your account number. The last 6 digits in this number is your account number. For example: ( C700123456 ) .

Should you lose your account number... Start Safari Casino and go to the "Cashier", then to "Deposit", then to "Cheque", the reference # you see there is your account number.

If I withdraw money from my ECash Direct account back to my credit card, how long does it generally take to show up on my credit card statement?

When withdrawing from your ECash Direct account back to your credit card, it will take approximately 2-5 business days to show up on your credit card statement. If 5 business days have passed since you withdrew funds from your ECash Direct account and they still have not shown up on your statement, please contact the bank who issued you the credit card and ask them if they see a credit from ECash Direct (UK) Limited pending.

How much can I withdraw back to my credit card?

When withdrawing from your ECash Direct account back to your credit card, you may withdraw up to the amount that you have deposited via credit card in the lifetime of your accounts with ECash Direct (UK) Limited. When you have withdrawn up to this amount, any remaining funds must be withdrawn via check.

Can I request to withdraw by either check or credit card, whichever I prefer?

No. If you have deposited to your ECash Direct account at any time by credit card, you must withdraw that amount back to your credit card first. The remainder of your balance may be withdrawn by check. Credit cards have priority. You may not request a check withdrawal until you have withdrawn the total of your deposits by credit card. You may not withdraw back to your credit card more than the amount which you have deposited.

I had to reinstall a program that contained the ECash Direct (UK) Limited ECash Direct application. Can I get my old ECash Direct account back?

If you reinstall a program which contains the ECash Direct (UK) Limited ECash Direct application, a new ECash Direct account number will be generated for you with its own corresponding PIN. You will be unable to recover your old ECash Direct account unless you saved your user information to disk from within the application before reinstalling it.

I get the error message "Account is locked". What do I do?

Unfortunately, for security reasons we cannot e-mail your username or password to you. You will have to contact us via one of our toll-free 24 hour phone lines:

Practice Mode

Safari Casino^® can be played in practice mode. In practice mode, Safari Casino^® is not connected to the gaming server and does not require an Internet Connection. Practice mode is for fun only. 
Note: In practice mode you are not able to play for real money and no credit card information is listed or required.

To play in practice mode, please click on "Start" from your desk top, then "Programs" then "Safari Casino^®" within Safari Casino^® you will find "Practice Safari Casino^®". In Practice Safari Casino^® you will only need to choose a user name to register. No password or any other kind of information is required. You will automatically be given $750 in virtual credits after each registration.

Important: If in Practice Mode, and ECash Direct should become disabled, no funds are exchanged.
